Traditions at Scott is The Ohio State University's largest dining hall, often feeding over ten thousand students a day. This project was a collaborative effort from the entire 2025 ID cohort at OSU, split into smaller focus groups to address specific issues that were pointed out to us on our tour of the dining hall.
One of the pain points that was noted to us by staff were the kickplates attached to the buffets- they were a last minute addition to the building during construction and were not holding up. To address accessibility and ease of cleaning, Brett Enders, Mark Boyd, and myself redesigned these kickplates.






Lastly, each group working on this project was asked to make a product video about their final results. Our video linked below took a somewhat unconventional approach.
